Brain training game &#8216;significantly reduces risk&#8217; &#8220;), you can expect to see the skeptics respond very quickly.<\/p>\n<p>As the Guardian <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/society\/2017\/nov\/16\/can-brain-training-reduce-dementia-risk-despite-new-research-the-jury-is-still-out\">reports<\/a>, the study didn&#8217;t follow rigorous definitions of dementia&#8211;it allowed participants to self-report!&#8211;and their results didn&#8217;t consistently reach statistical significance.<\/p>\n<p>We ardently hope that someday we&#8217;ll find brain-training games that work.
